1.) Everyone was super complimentary of Tennessee and said that was not an embarrassing loss. UM has three 5 stars on their roster and played as good as they could. Everyone thought it was an incredible basketball game and both teams played elite.
2.) talked with multiple UNC fans and I was complaining about Barnes going out early. They said Dean Smith took 20 years to win his first title. And coach k has been a #1 seed 21 times but only has 5 national titles. The UNC fans said the key to the tournament is consistently being 1-3 seed every year and at some point you’ll break through. Just a very fickle tournament where the best team hardly ever wins. And what they’re focused on is being a #1-3 seed consistently every year.
3) think we’re poised to be really effing good next year. Aidoo, BHH, Uros, vescovi, JJJ, and ZZ all returning. Think they’ll all learn from this and remember it.
sucks now but the future is very bright. This program is rolling. We just won the SEC championship and had an incredible year but ran into a bad matchup and had a bad shooting night which we’ve been prone to do all year.
