At the almost highest level of the sport, you have coaches who aren’t even close to good at their job, and others who are brilliant? Like, how does Justin fuente only get mediocre play from Hooker and then heupel makes him a dark horse heisman candidate in 2022?
it’s just wild to me that there is that much of a gap between people at basically the top of their profession. it’s not like a normal job. There are 60 HC/OC/DC jobs in power 5. If you take the top 60 people in any other profession, there’s not that much of a gap from 1-60.
