I would love for Hubbs and Co. to give a sincere answer to this question. If you really take a look at what seems to be taking place at the university it really concerns me. I sense a real power struggle and difference in interest from the powers that be concerning academics vs athletics. If this is a legit problem...the athletic programs (especially football) will absolutely suffer. When you have rival Alabama who's admin from the top down is in FULL SUPPORT of their football program from a financial resource standpoint...we cannot realistically expect a return to prominence among the SEC if our Administration is not fully on board. It absolutely sickens me...especially since this football program is the face of the University!!! Academics are/should ALWAYS be important at any University...but our football program absolutely has an impact on student enrollment, donations, and boosters who funnel money into the University. Again...if you look at Alabama..their enrollment numbers have increased over 10,000 students since Saban has been there! UT football absolutely has an affect on enrollment and national perception as a whole. It's my hope that the powers that be fully understand this!
