the circus that recruiting has become today. I'm referring to the antics and the "show " that these 18 year old kids put on on NSD. It is absolutely media and fan driven! They/we as fans have created this monster. It's absolutely no wonder a large percentage of high profile recruits roll to campus with a feeling of entitlement...not all...but a large percentage. The "spotlight" that these kids are given today is simply ridiculous! If they get to college, put on a "show" for three years and want to turn pro...THEN I can understand it! But as a high school senior...hell no!
It's really unfortunate...
