Right now most mocks have Hyatt going early second round. A few have him late first round.
The concern is that he only faced press coverage 3 times all last season and that he is a long strider who runs mostly long routes.
I read some thoughts from some NFL scouts about what we are going to see regarding Hyatt.
Hyatt is going to blow up the Combine with a sub 4.30 forty. Sure he’s another fast guy. However he is not too small, has more strength and maneuverability than most realize. Hyatt will not be a heavily targeted WR, but teams will often try and cover him with a safety or slot corner. Hyatt will win those battles 99% of the time.
Bottom line he will be a big play WR who will move safeties off a hash mark and open up running lanes.
Perfect fit for KC, Dallas, Buffalo.
Hyatt will be a top 20 pick and maybe top 15 pick after the Combine
