I remember Jesse’s article on returning wr production in college football and its impact on yards and points the next year. His point was Tennessee’s loss of Jennings & Callaway meant a significant decline in offensive production and efficiency, even in the running game due to defenses stacking the box. Couple that with JG’s lack of awareness and resulting turnovers, you get blown out by Kentucky! The margin for error is incredibly thin. With this being a year with no loss in eligibility for any player, play the young guys at wr and develop the qb that gives you the best chance to win next year. By playing JG to give you the best but unproven chance to win this year per Jesse’s point, you again impact production next year. Develop their production for next year now or I guess you can fire the DL coach!
