I was debating this Fall's Football schedule with some friends. I agreed this is the best opportunity in a long time to beat Florida at home. So I broke up our schedule by month. The key is to escape Sept undefeated. As long as we take care of business in Pittsburgh, this will be a great opportunity to beat a Florida team with a new HC, Billy Napier, when they come to Knoxville.
We finish 4-0 or no worse than 3-1.

October may not be as difficult as first thought. It's possible to take care of LSU, but it's going to depend on what Brian Kelly has accomplished with their roster and if he's replaced any of those leaving with the Portal/Transfers.
Having bama at Home is great, but I believe we'll have mismatch issues as usual. Kentucky can give us problems, but we typically take care of them in Knoxville when we have a good QB. Although Ky returns Will Levis and Chris Rodriguez, I'm picking us to take care of UK.
We might take a hit in October with possibly 2 losses or escape 3-1

It hurts dealing with Georgia in Athens, but it's a learning experience and maybe an opportunity to get exposure from area Georgia prospects that don't want to be bulldogs or want PT in Knoxville. I feel we're better than Mizzou, SCar and Vandy. However, Coach Shane Beamer and the Cocks could be a stumbling block in Columbia.
I'm still calling November a 3-1 finish.

Based on the thread and me admittedly being a HOMER, many will think I'm picking VOLS to go 10-2 or 9-3 this fall. Actually, I'll take a safer route and predict a respectable 8-4 which is not a bad record, plus it's an improvement over Heupel's first season.

...thoughts from the board?
GO VOLS!!
