covered up a lot of $hit. this defense missed that guy more than anyone.
I can almost guarantee his absence cost us 2, maybe 3 wins.
The flipside of that is, how unbelievably incompetent we were without him. A lot was exposed. And it isn't so much about athletic ability/talent, etc. There are some SERIOUS fundamental deficiencies in that defensive back end. Serious.
