I'm fine with all the precautions being taken, etc... but I do want thoughts on this.
They keep saying Covid 19 has shown to have around a 3% death rate. They are basing this on the number of positive tests as compared to deaths from people who have tested positive. So, I went on CDC website to look up flu to get a comparison. It says this year we have had 222, 532 positive flu tests and then it says we have had 22,000 deaths. That would be somewhere between 9.5-10% death rate. However, that's not how they figure the death rate for flu. They figure it based on how many they ESTIMATE to get the flu which was 33 million. If they used same formula for flu as they do Covid 19 then they would be estimating almost 3 million people dying from flu which we all know is false. So what gives? Is it just an overabundance of precaution because we don't have a vaccine and also unsure what medicines work best? is it something else? Just curious as to thoughts on this.
