I'm certainly not one pointing at the NCAA tourney at this point as there is a lot of work to do but I still enjoy the process and I like resume comparing while conference play is in full swing. At 11-5 and with a RPI of 52, we're truly in as good a spot as we could be with this team. Of our 5 losses, only one (vs Marquette RPI 112) is outside the top 100. The loss to 'bama (RPI 53, one spot behind us) is the only one outside the top 50. The other losses were to #3 (Kansas), #4 (VCU), and #38 (NC state). Not bad so far. If this team can win 7-8 more games (won't be easy but doable) then I think they'll have a shot at a bid.
