And hes a lot of fans top choice.... yikes.... vol fans are kinky... like pain
“Speaking of Lane Kiffin...his brief tenure with the Tennessee Volunteers was ultimately one of the ugliest partnerships in college football history. Kiffin was chosen to replace Phillip Fulmer, who had retired after 17 seasons as the Vols head coach. At 33, Kiffin was the youngest FBS head coach at the time. He would spend just one season in Knoxville, bolting for the same position with the USC Trojans in 2010. Tennessee went 7-6 in his lone season with the Vols, and his departure led to riots on the Tennessee campus. Since Kiffin left, the Vols have gone through the largely unsuccessful tenures of Derek Dooley and Butch Jones, although Jones did have back-to-back 9-4 seasons in 2015 and 2016. That was the most wins the program had in a single season since 2007, but Jones was fired after a 4-8 2017 campaign. Jeremy Pruitt was hired to take over last offseason. Pruitt, who went 5-7 in his first season, needs to coach just two more games to surpass Kiffin's total at Tennessee.”
