Some thoughts after watching it again and looking through the box score:
1. Worley played the whole game and took some wicked hits. Dobbs will need to get rid of the ball quickly. He also provides the running dimension that is part of our offense that OU didn't have to worry about last year.
2. We forced punts 5 times. Only 1 was returnable, and Cam Sutton returned it for 3 yards on that play. They did a good job of not letting us make big plays, and after yesterday's success returning the ball against Bowling Green, I'd expect much of the same from Stoops and their punter.
3. Hurd ran the ball for 6.9 ypc in Norman last season. I don't see why he wouldn't be able to get close to that again, if not exceed it. Kamara is fully capable of a big game too against this D.
4. We lost by 24 points, but that includes a OU TD right before the half, a OU TD on their first possession of the second half, and a 100 yard INT return for a TD when we were in the red-zone and threatening.
5. Our 3rd down defense was very good that day, as we held them to just 3 of 12 on 3rd down. Lil John needs to be rocking Saturday night.
