Our new home had bermuda sod laid down before we could request something different. I have never been a fan of bermuda, so what can I do to make it as green as possible. Some neighbors have appeared to have some success overseeding with fescue, but will the fescue last during the summer months (it also takes a full year to fill out the yard)? If the fescue won't keep the green punch through the entire summer, could I overseed with ryegrass? If overseeding is not a good fit, how do I make the bermuda lush and green?
Note: The side yards don't receive much light, but the front and back yards do.
