Lee Otis Burton is a popular topic of conversation here occasionally. I've known Lee for over 20 years now and I can tell you he is perhaps the most genuinely good person I've ever met. In July, 2016 Lee contracted salmonella poisoning that got into his blood and attacked his spine. He wound up undergoing emergency surgery in Chattanooga to remove an abscess from his spinal cord. There was a very good chance that he would never be able to walk again. I've attached a video updating his progress. Bear in mind that when he went into the hospital Lee was 6'-8", 285 pounds and looked like he could jump right into the DL rotation.
Enjoy and please hold a true VFL in your thoughts and prayers. He's almost 2 years into this and still has recovering left to do.
