I watched part of the Oklahoma West Virginia game earlier this week. The announcers said that West Va's game plan was to let Trae Young have his points but not to let him beat them with his passing. It worked out for them. They won, and Young got his points but only had one assist. He was averaging 10 assists per game.
I'm thinking that would be a good plan for Sexton. We have some depth at guard and lots of fouls to give so probably shouldn't try to double team him. Just play some straight up, hard nosed, one on one man defense, and if he gets 20, so be it.
