Let's talk the 85 for those so inclined.

I and @LWSVOL disagree on the numbers slightly. I don't think JT Carver is on scholarship. @Brent_Hubbs . His Dad is Chancellor at UTM and I think he's a walk-on. May change later, we'll see. I count 76 with 11 (Cade, Payton, Velus, Tyion, Theo, George, Alontae, Solomon, Butler, Tremblay, and Blakely departing). That leaves us at 65.

After the bowl game, and before the next semester starts on 1-24-22, there will be attrition:

Hooker- does he return? In Neyland, we pray.
Milton- if Hooker returns, does he stay or go down?
Tillman- does he return? In Neyland, we pray.
Calbert- mods think he'll retire due to injuries.
Mitchell- mods don't see him back.
Page- does he return? Maybe/proably?
Flowers- does he return? Probably.
Labruzza- does he stay or move on?
McGrath- does he return? In Neyland, we pray.
Brooks- does he return? In Neyland, we pray.

Probably only 4 spots open. Now we're at 61, leaving only 24 slots.

Plenty of other dead weight on the roster. I won't mention names, but I count at least 6 other kids who may be transfer candidates. Tough decisions/talks coming. Can they find a home?

The bottom line is I don't see us adding more than 30. Assuming Hooker and Tillman stay, our 2 biggest needs are a SDE (hopefully Verse) and a transfer OT!

Just my thoughts.
