17 hours one-way. We left Louisville around 7:00 pm, on Thursday. The pup did great, the entire drive. Both dogs got along great, upon meeting, though hers (a thick, energetic pittie) is a bull in a China shop.
Spent the weekend getting personal effects tucked away, and all of my kitchen items swapped out (I have nice Wustof knives and Calphlon pans, etc). Bourbon collection is on display.
Arrived back in Louisville this morning, at 5:00am. Have loose ends to tie up, professionally, have to put a few things in storage, then prep the house for Airbnb use.
She flies in for Derby, then again for my daughter’s graduation, then....we’re off to Colorado, for Chapter Two!
