I think it's pretty clear Shrout was a weird take with his only other P-5 offer being Cal, but what happened with Maurer to where he isn't even getting discussed for PT?
I'm not saying he'd be a program savior or anything, but as poorly as JG has played, you'd think he'd get another shot like he did last year.
The more concerning thing to me is not JG. Everyone can agree that JG is a headcase on Saturday's and doesn't have "it" but the fact we have ZERO other options with Bailey not getting any reps since being on campus is concerning.
This has to be on development, right? Only other options is everyone we're getting just "overrated" (JG, Maurer, Bailey) and I don't think that's very likely. Other great coaches are seeing something out of these guys we're landing.
