I went back to 1975. Since 1975 we have 10 seasons where we have won 10 games or more and 9 seasons where we've had a losing record. Even during Phil's great run in the 90's all we heard was you can't beat Florida. Have we set expectations too high for a program that during the last 40 years has been average to above average...Yes there's tradition, Yes there are rivalries with FL/Alabama and Georgia but as history has shown over the past 40 years we are most likely an 8 win program with a few seasons of greatness and a few seasons where we don't meet expectations.
