Ever since CJH arrived we have said Pitt was a key to successful season. We flubbed that first opportunity with self inflicted wounds. Florida was never going to be a win but the second half was disappointing.

So now we are back to another winnable game and one that has now become a key to any success this season. Win and we should beat SC, but lose and who the hell knows, given what has happened to us for far too long. And especially after that disaster last year with the Gump.

We all know exactly what has to be done to stop Mizzou. Even with our OL problems we should be able to both run and score on them. Can we add in a vertical passing game? At least if we only slow down their offense we should win. That should is tempered by playing clean and not going back to being a turnover machine. We have not proven we can play clean, but we better learn in hurry or it is going to be a very long season.

I do not think Mizzou is very good overall, but neither are we. If we fail in this in another must win better start looking forward to basketball and baseball.
