"Obviously everyone wants to know what's going to happen with Alexis Johnson. If Johnson is to return then there are some hoops to go through and some people have to sign off on it. Bottom line, it's not just Butch Jones' call. The first step moving forward for Johnson who had a charge dropped and a charge reduced from a felony assault to a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault that Johnson plead guilty to. The next step for Johnson before any real discussions of a return can happen is an appearance with student conduct. That is thought to happen early next week, as early as Monday. If Johnson is completely cleared by student conduct then it would certainly open the door for realistic possibility of a return with a given that he would have a clear set of standards who would have to adhere to."
