Nebraska left offensive tackle #68, Gates, got away with holding Barnett on almost every play. On the third down conversion at the 10:40 mark of the 4th quarter (play before Fyfe keeper for TD), he clearly elbows a Vol he is lying on top of after the run play was over. He cocks his arm to do it again but sees a ref walk up and decides not to. However, he does try to push and roll over the Tennessee player even more before getting up. Cam sees what he is doing and walks up and says something to Gates while he is still on the pile. Gates looks up at Cam and responds and then gets up. I know this stuff happens all the time but was surprised that none of the refs saw it or they did and didn't think it was worth a flag.
