Most seem to think we are going to beat them handily. I know they have their problems with injuries and such and faded big time down the stretch, but what have we done to gain so much confidence? We have not played a full 4 quarters all season and lost to SCjr with a bye week thrown in and an east title on the line. Drop back a notch and all we have to do is beat Vandy and go to the Sugar Bowl. We can't get that done either. Our defense became the worst in the country and could not stop anyone. We only outscored bad teams to even win what we did. And the offense is a turnover machine, and scored a lonely FG in the second half against Vandy. And we blew a two TD lead in that game.
Flame away but I just don't see it. What can we do, what have we done since the regular season to fix our problems, especially on defense. Can they be fixed? Is this coaching staff capable of fixing them? Are we really motivated to be in the MCB, regardless of the "focus" we have been told about. SC beat us with a HS quarterback and a freshman running back. This could be an ugly game between two ugly teams. Juts my thoughts.
