So the wife's cousin has an out-of-town (Virginia) wedding scheduled for the evening of December 3. (its not technically a wedding, but for our purposes here it is - a big formal family event). That, of course, is the date of the SECCG. Obviously, if TN is in that game I would like to be there, as i was for the last time we made the SECCG. I'd say there is something like a 60% chance that TN makes it at this point.
We are expected to be at this wedding. And our absence will be as conspicuous as you could be at a large (500-600 people) event, because we are the parents of the first and only child of the next generation of wife's cousins.
The wife is going to the wedding. She will bring the kid. My conundrum is how long to I wait to make plans to fly to DC for the wedding and Is it worth the trouble i will get in from missing the wedding. If Florida beats LSU and Arky i may just bite the bullet at that point and make plans to fly out. What say you, GQ? Any advice?
