It's time, my precious S2000 is 16 years old. I have been researching, looking, test driving and have decided to stick to my Honda roots and buy a 2022 Passport. Only thing is I can't find a Honda dealer who isn't upping MSRP to "Suggested Retail Value" on the sticker (as much as $3995) or adding made up sounding dealer options (Appearance Protection, Honda Protection Package, Tire and Wheel - whatever that is - and others) that can add almost $3,000.

I get it, hard times for the auto industry, supply and demand and all that, but that doesn't take the sting out of the fact that gouging is going on just because dealers can get away with it right now.

OK, I'm whining, but has anybody had a good new car buying experience recently? I buy a car so seldom that I feel like a babe in the woods when I walk through the dealership door.
