but does anybody else feel that our chances of beating Alabama twice in the same year is extremely slim?

Me thinks I'd rather handle business at A&M, drop one in the regular season vs. Bama and then get a revenge game in Atlanta with them rather than giving Saban the rest of the season to game plan for us.
