I don't worry a whole lot about uniforms but I do not get the infatuation with black unis. It's the color of Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, and Mizzou. But, for whatever reason, we decided WE needed black unis. So what did we do... first go at it we just got some black jerseys and wore our regular helmets with them. Recognizing that looked like poop, last year we had a great idea... wouldn't it look less like poop if we drew black outlines around the T?
No, fools! It didn't. Those Dark Mode unis looked like typical uniforms from Build a Team mode in EA College Football where you'd fantasize about your hometown having a big time national program... derp! The Hendersonville Pythons derp! - and then you'd mess around with the players and make them all 6'7, 300 lbs, and rate them 99 in every category...then they would all have visors on their helmets.. because that looks badass.. but I digress
then you'd make the uniforms and select the stupid pre fab Python logo and proceed to club the suddenly outmanned Alabama Crimson tide like a baby seal.
Stoo. Pid. Dark Mode looked AWFUL.
Cheers to a return to sanity and the new Smokey Grays.
