1. Once again, we've struggled against smaller, successful, option-type offenses. How many times have we seen this through the years Vol fans? As one poster, already pointed out see Air Force. And there's many others.

2. Why is this? The athletes we recruit aren't built for this. We recruit larger, more powerful athletes like everyone else in the SEC. Our offense practices against larger more powerful athletes in practice.

3. The crown of the "The Team of Destiny" has been removed in game 1. It's a perfect time to realize that no one is going to give us anything. This team will play hungrier with a chip on its shoulder. We looked tight last night. We need to let it rip from here on out.

4. We STILL have a very, very talented roster full of guys who are battle-proven in the SEC. Don't forget that. And we're breaking in new guys on the o-line and d-line. We need to learn how to let is loose, and as a team.

5. I think we're going to play much better against teams we're built for like Georgia and Florida.

6. Admittedly, I think Va Tech is going to be a big challenge because we're clearly not "there" yet and we're playing them in a strange venue.

7. Again, I'm the crown is gone. If this team plays up to their capability, we're going to have a good year.

8. On offense, DeBord is going to recognize that we need more north/south in both the running and passing games. Better to know this now. DeBord is a good coach. I have faith that they're going to watch the tape and regroup.

9. The O-line stunk and didn't live up to their ability last night. There's nowhere to go but up. I fully expect them to improve.

10. Who's with me?
