Just a little speculation and frivolity before the A&M game.
Obviously we need to find a local team, before the game, that’s willing to play us a quarter or a half of football. College, Texas HS team, I don’t think it really matters. Whatever it takes to get a quarter or half of football under our belts before the game. Then after we’re warmed up, and the coaches are coaching aggressively, take on the aggies. Of course the main reason we've beaten FL and GA was my consistent use of Reverse Mojo.
Seriously, I’d love to see us coach from the very beginning as if we’re 17 points down. As was said in the Roundtable, this coaching staff just coaches differently, more aggressively, when they’re coaching from behind. I’m thinking let’s be aggressive from the outset. Let’s set Dobbs loose from the very beginning putting the game in his hands. Give him the green light to improvise running, scrambling, and passing. Let’s free the potential of this team from the start and adjust, if necessary, from there. I know we’ve had dropped passes and missed assignments in the first halves, but we’ve also not had many called plays for Dobbs. Of course, I'm all in for Butch and however he wants to play it, after all he's gotten us to 5-0, but A&M running it up on us early may be insurmountable.
