General Neylands Game Maxims are all ageless and still the essence of winning football. I think these three pretty much sum up all 7.... Had the honor of reciting these as a player and they will determine the outcome of this game.
1. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win......make no mistake, Oklahoma will bring in a very athletic, tough and talented team. I was encouraged by how cleanly we played in game one...notwithstanding some defensive communication issues and breakdowns...No turnovers and limited penalties.
3. If at first the game of breaks go against you, don't let up...put on more steam.....Could very well happen....take solace in the comeback at SC last year by the core of this team.
7. Cary the fight to your opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.....I believe this team is coached to do that and have done so over and over.
