From 1983 -2007 there were only two seasons we didn't have at least one ol named All -SEC and 8 were named All-Americans.I suspect that the fact Fulmer was either a ol himself,ol coach,offensive coordinator or head coach played a role in our good ols.
If u are in a power conference,it's a must and our season will depend a great deal on our ol.How did we get in this mess?Check out Fulmers last 2 ol recruits and Dooleys last...he signed none.
Although,we have some good freshmen,they don't usually fare to well against 4th a nd 5th years Div. 1 D linemen.
This might be a good reason for our fans to throttle back their expectations somewhat.
