Why can't we follow the same model? In fact, our offense is almost certainly going to be better than theirs was.
And yes, I'm sure everyone will let me know that they have Laremy Tunsil. That's nice, but they ranked 85th nationally in sacks allowed (12th in the SEC) and 101st nationally in TFL allowed (13th in the SEC). They also did not have a go-to running back and they had an incredibly erratic QB.
Despite all of this, they finished 51st nationally (7th in the SEC) in total offense. They have a very creative OC who did a lot to scheme around the OL problem and they had an awesome, attacking defense that kept them in almost every game.
A bad OL doesn't have to be a death sentence. We had 10 TFL and 6 sacks against them and lost 34-3.
