After landing or purchasing, whichever you choose, the #8 ranked Rivals class last year, the mighty Rebs are feeling the heat from this ongoing investigation and are sputtering at #38. The recruits know Freeze and company are about to get nailed. Recruits with NFL aspirations want and really need exposure. Major sanctions will most likely include post season ban of at least 1 year and possibly more. There could be no televised games which is not going to get any player the exposure they need. The range of scholarships lost is going to be damaging but it may very well be devastating that may take the rebs decades to recover from. Ole Miss has not exactly been known as a power house contender year in and year out. Major sanctions will put them in a tail spin that will return them to the losing program that Ole Miss has been accustomed to fielding. When that happens, it will take a miracle or more cash slinging to bring them to a contender again.
