Anyone else tired of our own fans pissing on us for mentioning anything that could be remotely considered a "moral victory"?

It's ridiculous.

Nobody is placing false hope on this staff for anything like a moral victory. With as far "down" we have been as a program, fans have to get out of that mindset. Stop the insanity. Stop the incessant negativity.

As a fanbase, none of us are looking for "moral victories." What we are looking AT is signs of improvement in coaching. Both in scheme and fundamentals. And we're seeing it, even in our losses. It gives us something to look forward to for the future of the team. And further, we're not seeing the backsliding we have for 15 years. Where we might get a win, but then have an inexplicable loss due to horrible fundamentals.

No moral victories this year whatsoever. We've lost to simply superior teams (Bama, UGA) and gave teams that are deeper at every position all they could handle (Pitt, Ole Miss). Florida is a Jekyl and Hyde team that got us early before we hit our stride and now looks horrible. Vol luck.

Instead of looking at crap to criticise on this team constantly, let's focus on the positives. As a fanbase, that's what we can do to help. I know people get off on nitpicking every little mistake, but if our program is ever going to get better, we as a fanbase, have to get over that.
