Both kids have experience playing off the ball inside LB. What I mean by that is they’re not converts, like so many guys at that position often are. Whether former RB or safeties who outgrew the position, there’s a huge transition.
The instincts it takes to play inside aren’t easily learned. I really really like that both kids have pototypical size, big enough but won’t outgrow the position, and they have played there for awhile.
