My Dad used to make them for me growing up. You just get some good apple butter between two pieces of white bread and fry it in a little butter in a pan. It’s a pretty tasty breakfast for a kid. It’s not healthy but we didn’t eat them often.
OT: Anyone ever eat a fried apple butter sandwich ?
