My dog has been having this issue with one of his paws where sometimes it just kind of collapses underneath him. He doesn't limp or appear to be in any pain but sometimes he holds it slightly off the ground. When I took him in for his annual vaccinations/wellness exam I told the vet about it and he just kind of brushed it off like it was nothing serious and said if I noticed it getting worse to bring him back in (I dont think he had any clue what was wrong). My girlfriend used to be a chiropractor (human kind, not animals) and she said it sounds like a spinal issue that might could be helped with an adjustment. I noticed that when he got his shots he did not even flinch, and he normally yelps when he gets one. Both shots were on his right side, which is the side he has the paw issue on - makes me think that maybe he has numbness or something. Anyway, I never even knew there were chiropractors for pets and wondered in anyone had used one before?
