What's up with all the flight cancellations across the country today? Wife is in NY and good weather and both SW and Jet Blue had cancelled their flights to Nashville and they are stuck. They are hearing flights all over the country cancelled
Is there anything the airlines are responsible for other than just the flight creditor refund? Hotel or food?
Is there travel insurance thru some credit cards for stuff like this if used to book that cover your hotel and food for the night? 6 of them up there and this is now costing us another $1000+ bc of the cancellations. Crazy airlines can cancel at a whim and not cost them anything and strand passengers for a day or two.
