We recently had a hail storm so I had a contractor out to inspect for damage. He says my roof and gutters should be replaced. We have filed a claim with our insurance company and the adjuster will be out this week. The contractor wants to meet the adjuster at my house to discuss the damage. Once we receive the detail of what is covered and how much insurance is covering the contractor asked that we send them that info. Is that what should happen? Seems a bit shady to me. Shouldn’t I ask the contractor to give me a quote for repair of the damages?
