Need some help. I have had multiple shoulder surgeries on each shoulder. I still lifted but Im somewhat limited to the weight I can lift. Here is my problem. I currently weigh 180 pounds but while trying to regain some upper body mass the mass seems to be going around waistline. How do I get this weight of my waist while trying to at least maintain if not gain a little upper body size. Are these competing goals that I cant achieve?
I have recently started 2 to 3 times per week a HIIT cardio routine of between 30 and 45 minutes and hit the weights 3 other days of the week
