This off season this was definitely a position where anyone following the program knew could be a weak spot, a spot we all knew we needed better play. We knew we had some talent but it was an "issue have to see it to believe" kind of thing. I think yesterday in the 2nd half will be huge for that groups confidence. To do that against UF and just the plays that were made is huge. I think it's exactly what they needed. I think that group strike a little bit more fear in our opponents after yesterday. JJ is just a gamer. Malone is playing on a whole knew level. Byrd will only get better, he's already SEC caliber, it's just a matter on how many time he touches the ball now. He will make plays, fact. Then you have Josh Smith who at anytime is capable of making game changing plays. And oh yeah, PW. He is a break out performance away (see J. Jennings) from being as good a weapon as we have.
If this groups confidence stays high, it's one of the top groups anywhere.
Dobbs makes us go, no doubt. If he's not playing well that means no one on O is. So obviously he is the key to all of this. This staff has to keep Dobbs rolling and I think that's a lot on play calling. We see this offensive system can actually open up and it must stay that was. Dobbs is best with our foot on the gas.
Went to game and had a great time. Just wanted to share some thoughts.
