Coming to the GQ for input, I’m torn between the Recteq RT700 and Camp Chef Woodwind 36, not to ignore the other options out there as well (I hear great things on Traegar and Pit Boss as well). I want to be able to sear burgers and steaks, and realize I can either keep my propane grill close by and reverse sear, or add one of the propane attachments offered. Anyone have experience with the RT smokebox and sear kit or the CC sidekick or sear box? How’s smoke flavor and ease of cleaning on these grills? Both have plenty of height for smoking a turkey? TIA!
