Poll: When you take your dog for a walk, is it ok to throw the dog poop bag in a neighbor's trash

I heard an interesting debate on TV yesterday. Let's say you are walking your dog and it poops in a yard and you do the right thing and pick it up in a baggie. Is ok to throw the dog poop bag in one of the trashcans other than your own as you walk by or do you need to carry it home.
