The signs have been there all season with the close wins.
I wanted to believe the team was growing and that surviving each week was what mattered.
I truly believe we were going to win easy tonight with 2 weeks to rest and heal and 2 weeks for the coaching staff to prepare.
Instead, we had no identity from the opening kick off. The coaches where in over their heads and with a few exceptions the kids were not ready to play.
There were no adjustments during the game offensively. Timeout/clock management was atrocious and fire worthy from the coaches.
Butch Jones and his staff are in over their heads, and I wish it wasn't true. But it is...
He's taken the program as far as he can. Recruited well and won importantly recruiting battles to get talent back in the program.
But he's not the guy to get this program fully back to where we all want it.
