How does this process work? Do they have to wait a full year to be able to be put on scholarship?
Reason behind asking is, with the team losing scholarship players every offseason, what keeps the staff from asking kids like a Jalen McKenzie to sign as a walkon and as soon as a scholarship is free (transfer, dismissed, pulled, etc) putting the player on scholarship?
I know there are rules I'm sure but just curious.
