How is it that this kid is so upset because we wait until 7 or 8 months before signing day to offer/pursue him, that he won't consider listening to us even though he supposedly grew up a Tennessee fan? It would obviously be much easier for his parents to attend games in Knoxville than Norman, OK too. Numerous kids from Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama have left us at the Alter in the final hour because their instate schools offered them only a few WEEKS before signing day. Dalton Santos and Rudy Ford are a couple that come to mind.
