I've been staying in touch with Ryan Newsome the last few days and Tennessee was one of the first schools to get in touch once he received his release.
But, the Vols let him know after they tried to work on numbers they just won't be able to find room right now.
He has a number of other schools interested and he will likely head there and not do a Juco this fall.
I think Tennessee spent a few days trying to see if they can find out a way to make room for him in August, but it doesn't look like it will work out.
