I spoke to Davis earlier today following his unofficial visit to Tennessee over the weekend. The situation is still fluid, but as I said last night, Davis is an intriguing prospect but nothing more right now. He has no bearing on Tennessee's cornerback board, as Griffin, Smith, Palmer and ITS are all still top targets.
Davis is a two-sport star (shortstop and corner) and spent the weekend meeting with baseball coach Tony Vitello, as well as Jeremy Pruitt, Terry Fair and David Johnson.
