The last top 10 RB out of state that UT signed might be Bryce Brown and APB David Oku iirc
The last in-state HS RB that was top 10 Ty Chandler and Eric Gray and then Jalen Hurd before those two. UT did grab Kamara in 2015 when Bama messed up not playing him and he transferred.
Since those instate guys UTs hasn't signed even a top 20 RB iirc.
I understand they can be developed and RB appears to be a low priority for this staff/ offense in NIL$ but UT should be capable of signing a top 10 HS RB out of state occasionally vs 15 years ago. If it wasn't for 3 instate RBs I wonder if UT would have ever signed a top 10 RB out of HS since Kiffin was here.
