I'm sure Dormady is more ready and comfortable in the system, but it's hard to imagine this offense without a playmaker like Dobbs at quarterback. The infallible system ultimately needs not just a running threat, but a running QB back there. This is especially true if Mahoney is somehow given a new contract. Dobbs' amazing elusiveness and instincts really saved his position group from looking even worse in his 3 years at the helm.
I like what I've seen from QD and think he's a good QB. It's just hard to imagine this offense being as good as we need it to be without a true playmaker at the quarterback position. JMO of course
